Choose a spot that suits you
Bonaire is known for shore diving, and snorkelers can enjoy its underwater world too. One well-known west-coast spot is 1000 Steps, reached by a stone staircase. Keep the return climb in mind when packing your gear.
Choose a site for the conditions
Check conditions before entering the water and ask a local dive school which sites suit your experience. Keep your distance from coral and wildlife and avoid touching them. Turtles are found around the island, but sightings are never guaranteed.

Before heading out
